Super Visa based on AOR

Seniors...Do suggest

Can we apply Super visa for my parents in INDIA based on AOR or should I wait until we get our physical PR Card...I heard that its getting tougher to get visitor visa and every one is suggesting to go for Super Visa.

Please share your experiences....Thanks in advance

No, you cannot apply based on AOR. AOR is only an Acknowledgement of Receipt and does not guarantee that your PR application will be successful.

To apply for the parent and grandparent super visa, you must:

be the parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada,
be allowed to enter Canada and
meet certain other conditions.

In regards to your question... my mom and sister applied for visitors visas and they both got a maximum amount of years to the validity of their passports. And during that time I was only on a work permit so everyone situation is different. Do you have other family in Canada that could sponsor your parents?

So if I want to provide a visitor visa to my mother while I'm on work permit here what would I need? What kind of documents did they ask from You, and from your mother too?
