My girlfriend applied for extension of closed WP with different employer June 13. No updates.
What is your Eligibility status now? Did you try to call them?
My wife's current status is "implied status". Her previous work permit expired. I didn't try to call them.
Is there any body applied for work permit extension June 8th 2019 .i have applied for work permit extension but there is no update yet .what I have to do please help me
Brother I send a web form but I have not received any update yet just 1 day before.
I submitted mine June 8th. Sent webform and asked help from the MP too. Still no updates.
From my experience....if PR application goes in security screening - the longer one, then BOWP or WP extension can get delayed. No time frame.

You can continue to work same as before while your extension in being processed (implied status).
I had to take private medical insurance too as a precaution, as my WP extension took several months.
Told me that they will contact immigration and I’ll wait for them to get back to me next week
