Study permit Online application from USA

Hi Guys;
I applied for study permit from USA (I am not US Citizen or PR) on Sunday August 3rd and provided my Bio-metric on Monday 4th of August. Please, do you have any information how long it will take for study permit and Visa processing?

I also made my app in US. not us citizen or PR.
Submitted on Jul.16th, and no updates til now. BTW I am not required to take biometric.

Yes sure. I am going to the Univ of Alberta grad schl. Wish we get the visas promptly.

Hi Vien,
I think both consulates at LA and NY do require the applicant to submit pp through VAC. They are not accepting pp directly mailed to them now.
you can visit cic.gc.ca/submit to see that.

Thanks and good luck in your studies. I have some questions: I submitted the required documents only online Study permit form, family form, financial support, acceptance letter, biometric screening, PP, Photo ...etc.
I did not submit any optional documents, Is this Okay?
