Hello everyone,

i am new to this forum, i wanted to know few things for studying in canada:

2. can my husband accompany me as dependent if i go for student visa?
3. will this course help me to get PR as this diploma course would be for 2 years (as per Saskatchewan university)
4. any other course recommended if my long term plan is to get PR.

my academic qualifications are:

10th - maharashtra board - 60%
12th - Maharashtra board - 64%
Ty.bcom - mumbai university - 84%
ECCE certification course - helen o grady international - 84%

1. I don't know... but I believe that it's hard to have a bad education in Canada. I know that where I'm going, Red River College in Winnipeg, they have a program where I can put my kid, since I'm going to study there, in order to early childhood students take care of him - which I think it's really cool.

2. Yes and he will be able to get a work permit during your studies and also apply for PR during your studies since it'll pass 1 year of studies. I've heard that in Manitoba the chances are higher so, you should consider or read more about it. There you, OR your husband, need to work for at least 6 months full time in order to apply for provincial immigration.

3. Yes because you'll be able to get a Post Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) of 2 years after diploma.

4. You can get any course if you like it but, be ware... you MUST apply for a program that is related to your current area of employment in order to successfully get your PR.
