Hello we are just wondering if anyone has applied for a student visa well waitng for outland spouse applition?

Yep - we did. It was denied . . . but that was not because there was an outland PR ap in process. Under "normal" circumstances there shouldn't be any reason you couldn't get one as long as you have a school willing to accept your enrollment and you can meet all the other qualifications. Having an outland ap in process does not preclude you from attending school with a study permit/student visa. It's just another type of temporary status document.

Hi,

it's two totally different things, if the PR application has just begun, it could have as little as no bearings on a future study permit.

but remember that studying as a PR in most universities & colleges is a lot cheaper than for an international student!
