1. Application received at CIO Sydney
2. Completeness Check
3. Eligibility check as per Ministerial instructions (CAP of NOC is determined at this stage)
4. If eligible, deduct fees else return to applicant
5. Check for minimal requirements (Review of NOC & duties mentioned in schedule-3, here it is not from the 29 list, but any NOC under O, A & B - 1 yr. full time in the last 10 years)
6. Acknowledge the applicant
7. Assess the application under FSW selection criteria (Education, Language proficiency (knowledge of official languages, Experience, Age, Arranged employment & Adaptability) -Review of documents submitted & award points in CAIPS.
8. If eligible with 67 points, forward application to Visa Office
9. Visa Office scrutinizes the documents submitted, for genuineness & does background checks
10. If everything OK, issues request for Police Clearance Certificates ( 9 & 10 may be simultaneous)
11. All green flags-issue request for medical & passports
12. Issue Visa.....
