Hi, this may be an odd thread but I am hoping to find some other opinions and experiences here.
I visited Canada many times before I came 2017 to study and since 2020 I have a PGWP. I applied for PR through the TR to PR program (no application number yet).
I am male, single, in my 40s, well educated (skilled worker) and have a permanent position.
It was always my dream to live in Canada. I love Canada! But recently I realized that I think more often about going back to Europe...
The two main reasons:
But somehow I am not ready to give up my dream yet....
If you are in a similar situation, how do you cope with the situation?
Thanks!
PS. I live in a city but not within BC, ON or QC.
PS2. I also know that because of Corona, back home it's not that much better and after 5 years I also have to start over as well. I started a list and some other reasons to go back home are:

The two main reasons:
- no social contacts because of the Corona virus; it's hard to meet new people
- no chance to meet people at work when you are "forced" to work from home
- even when you can go to the office; people keep for themselves and others keep working from home
- people in my age group have often families and therefore other priorities
- being in the limbo since 2020 thanks to IRCC (first PGWP and now PR)
But somehow I am not ready to give up my dream yet....

- at least I have family there
- better social security and public service
- would earn at least twice as much back home (but I didn't come to Canada for the salary anyways)
- would have twice as many weeks vacation
- no waiting list for doctors and appointments
- usable and working public transport
