Hi so I'm a Canadian citizen and I'm trying to sponsor my wife back in Sri Lanka, and we are still in the beginning stage collecting required documents.
My wife went to get the police report to the main police station in Colombo, but the police officer there asked her for the address of Sri Lankan embassy in Canada. I don't get why? Aren't they supposed to ask for the address for Canadian embassy or immigration in Sri Lanka instead? She already paid for the report too. Does she have to go get an another report again? Can someone please help me?
