I'm new here, and I'm really glad that I found these forums to help me with my multitude of questions. My soon to be wife was born in the United States and moved to the Philippines when she was 10, and therefore is both a Filipino and US Citizen. What are my options for sponsoring her here to become a Permanent Resident of Canada? I'm aware that entering Canada from her perspective does not require a visitor's Visa due to her being a citizen of the United States - so does that mean that I can file her application while she lives here with me as a visitor and waits for the approval?
