I think I will try DHL because I've heard of abu dhabi not receiving mail through two ppl on this forum who used fed ex...

You can try DHL, they are not asking for P.O. box but I still included it in the address, so it's ok. Just write the complete address exactly as what is written in the request letter they've sent to you. Or if you want a service that has a return service if it was not received, try fedex. If you send your documents via post office it will take 1 to 2 weeks or more even if it is EMS, we've tried that.

i know right now they have technical problems and a lot of people are complaining about ecas not workin. mine isnt workin either, not that it would have n e positive news :'(

i have. random question.. i applied ctzenship for my husband in 2011 anc i cancelled it .. and now he is working in UAE... if i will reapply for a family sponsorhip is it going to be in UAE embasy? he is a filipino citizen im canadian and how long is the process?

Yes you can apply for him through Abu Dhabi Embassy.. the processing Time is depend to your case and how many cases processing in the same time of your case in Abu Dhabi Embassy.. normally all processing time takes from 8 to 12 months & some times up to 24 months...
but why you've canceled the case in 2011 ??

Yes. they've just updated my ECAS status last january 28 this year. It says in process after seeing the application received and medical results received for a very long time.. And I have thought that they will not update it anymore.. I think it was because of the inquiry made by our MP. If it was not because of her status inquiry? Maybe they wouldn't mind opening or reviewing my papers for the next 2 months.

Hi,

I'll try to help you out.... use the Immigration file number you received from ABU DHABI. so select Immigration File Number from the drop down menu.. than in the next field or box enter the actual Immigration number you received from Abu Dhabi....mine starts with F000.....

and than write in the applicants information in the next boxes,, so the person being sponsored... JUST THEIR SUR NAME (meaning LAST name of person being sponsored)
and his/her date of birth of applicant (again person being sponsored) and country of birth of applicant (person being sponsored)....


You should be able to see your status this way...

Thanks (Najah786) for your quick reply,,, i did all this but nothing happened,, i got 2 application numbers one form CIC and the other from Abu Dhabi Office,,,, which one i have to but,,, and the rest of my info,, is it for the applicant info or the sponsor???? when i but my details is showing the below mssg :

Thank you very much munckin80 for your help... i try all of this but i got the same msg,, maybe because am processing my file through my Lawyer ??? ??? maybe he is only the one who can access to my e-case ??? ??? otherwise it will be Disaster :-( i will check with him and get back to you ;D .. thanks again
