Spouse PPR Request to Ottawa from outside CANADA

Hello,

Here I am starting new thread to track the applications of PPR request for PR of spouse from outside CANADA. As you all know we have to submit all passport together to Ottawa, Canada, regardless your spouse is in Canada or not. We can track the whole process here from PPR request to cic for the spouse outside of canada to getting stamp done on passport.

That will be helpful to everybody to track the time of visa stamp outside of Canada.

If the Applicant in Canada and we transfer spouse PPR to India, Any idea guys, How many days it takes to get stamp in New Delhi VO, India for the passport of spouse for PR outside Canada???

I have not received my PPR yet, but I;ll be in this situation when Visa office will request PP. Experience members kindly share your experience.

Hi,

A friend of mine requested e-mail to cic for his son to do stamp in india and cic replied with email in 4 days...thats fast response..

It says in email that his Passport will be return in 20 days from Delhi, India..

I hope this info helps everybody, who are waiting for their accompanying family members!!!

I have one question if anyone knows, Right now my appliaction status is in process. I applied under SINP to sydney. Now i am in Canada & wife is in India. For stamping i need her passport as well. Can i ask CPP-ottawa to send me two email stating that i can submit my passport here in Canada & her passport in new delhi , India. Can i send them the email like this before decision made on my application or i can email it right away, so it will save my time period. or is it better to wait & then ask?

I think general routine is we have to wait for regular PPR email, after that u can send an email about ur wife's ppr..

that friend's son got reply in 5 days and got stamp on PP about 6 days in Delhi, INDIA..

I got PPR on APR 23, same day (9PM Alberta time) i send an email to cic about wife's PPR, still waiting.

will update u as soon i get..

Why u didn't sent your wife's pp with u together. Can we hold the spouse's pp and send them to Ottawa?

She is in India, i can't bring her passport here.. Its illegal per India rules!!

I have a same situation as yours. I got the ppr email at the same time as yours and i reply the email as well for my wife Ppr and still waiting for CPP Ottawa to reply.

So without getting PP request from CPP-Ottawa, can i send them the email about my situation about the passports? So like i can save the time? or just wait for their email for PP request?

I send them email once on APR 15 and never got reply.. I think only sometimes they replied ur email.

I was thinking same like u for my PPR but didn't do it.. It all depends on you.
