hI guys! I'm very confuse...kasi some says na dapat binayaran na yung RPRF para ma-process yung application and some after DM tsaka aadvise to pay RPRF...which is appropriate? CIC-M send letter to my husband and its says like this....

Mas advisable na bayaran kaagad yung RPRF kasabay nung processing fee para tuloy2 na yung pag process ng papers nyo, pag ndi kc nabayaran agad medyo madedelay pa ng ilang weeks gaya ng nangyari samen, pero okay lang kc mabilis naman ang processing ngaun.. I hope that will help. Lesson yan sa mag ssunod na applicants, bayaran na agad RPRF para walang delay

Batchmate, ako naman April 15 PPR ko, pero na recieve ko letter April 25 na ( after nung holy week) then nung May 28, dumating yung Abu Dhabi Police Certificate ko which is kasama sa hinihingi ng CEM together nung passport at Appendix A, pinadala ko na rin on the same date, May 31 na receive sa CEM. then nung June 9, nag medical recieved status ko sa ECAS.. sana dumating na yung hinihintay nating lahat.. Pray.

Wow! Oo nga destino88 classmate talaga tau akok din nung may 24 ko lang napadala lahat gawa ng passport. Nag change naba status mo dun sa ecas? Diba dati nakalagay dun application received ang status? Napalitan na ba ng in process yun? Wow sana tuloy2 na tong application naten noh? Para maksama na rin natin mga asawa natin

Continuation of B: To renew or apply for passport at Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) certificate from Seminar B is required

To avoid delay of visa processing, make sure all fees were paid, and all documents were submited.

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF). If this fee is not paid with the application, Canadian Embassy Manila will first contact you to send you a letter to tell you to pay. The letter goes to the person being sponsored but the fees have to be paid by the sponsor themselves. You then pay your fees online or at a bank and have to send the proof to CPC-Missassauga. Then CPC-M sends notice to the CEM that it was paid.
It takes time to get back to you to tell that the fees are paid. So it does slow down the process quite a bit. Failure to pay the fee at the time of submission of the application will result in a minimum additional two-month delay in the finalization of the application according to http://www.cnn1.net/pdf_forms/3900E.pdf

Additional documents usually requested by the embassy:
1. AOM (Advisory on Marriage) from NSO- different from Marriage Certificate; should be submitted at CPC-Missassauga together with other required documents at Country Specific Instructions-Philippines http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3905e.pdf
2. Divorce Petition- different from Divorce Certificate; usually requested from Filipino sponsors who are divorced based on experiences of posters in this forum. (For natural-born Canadian sponsors who are divorced, seems that they don't ask from you, but pls confirm at CEM)
3. Appendix A- or Additional Family Information; though submitted previously, they will still ask a copy; the letter usually comes with the AOR/PPR
4. Detailed statement of relationship with the EX (notarized)- for sponsored person with a child from their ex. Sometimes you are required to submit: Ex's I.D, a notarized letter stating the ex allows the child to be sponsored, or other document asked by the visa officer.

Hi redtag...Nope...If you weren't able to include the rprf upon submission of your application they're gonna ask for it before they make a decision on your application.

Hi...check mo ulit this weekend yung status mo baka na delay lang yung update ng "...a decision has been made on your application." Ganyan nangyari kay aginaya. Usually sa ecas ganito nakalagay:

We received your application on xxxx
Medical results have been received
We started processing your application on xxxx and a decision has been made.

If you know for sure that there's no problem with your apps, submitted all the necessary requirements, paid the fee in full, good security background, no medical problems, you presented your documents so nice, you have all the documents they needed for sure it's gonna be a fast processing. Goodluck

We started processing JAQ application on June 7, 2011.

Continuation of B: To renew or apply for passport at Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) certificate from Seminar B is required

To avoid delay of visa processing, make sure all fees were paid, and all documents were submited.

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF). If this fee is not paid with the application, Canadian Embassy Manila will first contact you to send you a letter to tell you to pay. The letter goes to the person being sponsored but the fees have to be paid by the sponsor themselves. You then pay your fees online or at a bank and have to send the proof to CPC-Missassauga. Then CPC-M sends notice to the CEM that it was paid.
It takes time to get back to you to tell that the fees are paid. So it does slow down the process quite a bit. Failure to pay the fee at the time of submission of the application will result in a minimum additional two-month delay in the finalization of the application according to http://www.cnn1.net/pdf_forms/3900E.pdf

Additional documents usually requested by the embassy:
1. AOM (Advisory on Marriage) from NSO- different from Marriage Certificate; should be submitted at CPC-Missassauga together with other required documents at Country Specific Instructions-Philippines http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3905e.pdf
2. Divorce Petition- different from Divorce Certificate; usually requested from Filipino sponsors who are divorced based on experiences of posters in this forum. (For natural-born Canadian sponsors who are divorced, seems that they don't ask from you, but pls confirm at CEM)
3. Appendix A- or Additional Family Information; though submitted previously, they will still ask a copy; the letter usually comes with the AOR/PPR
4. Detailed statement of relationship with the EX (notarized)- for sponsored person with a child from their ex. Sometimes you are required to submit: Ex's I.D, a notarized letter stating the ex allows the child to be sponsored, or other document asked by the visa officer.

Wow! Oo nga destino88 classmate talaga tau akok din nung may 24 ko lang napadala lahat gawa ng passport. Nag change naba status mo dun sa ecas? Diba dati nakalagay dun application received ang status? Napalitan na ba ng in process yun? Wow sana tuloy2 na tong application naten noh? Para maksama na rin natin mga asawa natin
