usually pag cenomar ang nirequest mo at naregister na MC niyo sa NSO upon request, AOM na ibibigay sau showing that you're married to your spouse.
yeah, request ka na AOM sa NSO kasi for sure hingan ka niyan ng CEM.

Maiintindihan kya nila yun na nauna kuha ko ng cenomar kesa marriage certificate. Mkikita nmn cguro nila yung date.they might think n fake yung marriage certificate. ma aanalyze nmn cguro nila. Do u think it would coz delay sa processing. I just hope it wont affect the processing I think they are smart enough to analyzed it na i got the cenomar earlier than the marriage certificate thats why single p si hubby before we got married. Didnt know ksi there are 2 kinds of cenomar

ako rin hindi ko alam un. nagtaka actually ako ng AOM mareceive ko instead na cenomar.
expected ko kasi nun na cenomar marereceiv ko since un nirequest pero expected ko rin na mag-aappear dun na married ako kay hubby dahil i make sure na naregister na MC namin bago ako nagrequest ng cenomar. At dahil AOM nmn ang need ko kasi married na, go na ako.

Mabilis din lang yan basta wala ng irerequest yung CEM... Minsan kasi nagtatagal lang kung marami pa silang request pero kung PP at Appendix A lang within three months makukuha mo na VISA mo. ung sa asawa ko eksaktong ika-3 months nya nung nakuha ang Visa nya March 3 yata un kasi na-DM sya ng Feb. 26.... Patience lang talaga!

Hi...yeah ok yun no worries. You should submit both cenomar to show you're single before you got married and Advisory of marriage to show record of your marriage at NSO aside from the marriage certificate. Don't worry it will not cause any delay and problem. Cheers!

Hello I'm not sure kung dito ako dapat mag post but atleast mga filipina ang major na nagbabasa ng thread na to...

You see, me and my husband just got married. I just got the copy of our NSO MC.

There's two things I noticed.
1. The name is Dan Rob but ang ginawa nung nag-encode ginawa niyang Middle initial ang Rob it appears Dan R. na dapat hindi naman middle initial ang Rob since its a part of his first name.
2. his age on the marriage contract. when we applied for our marriage license, he's just 29 but when we got married he's already 30.

I want to know and I really beg for advise, if this will cause any problem sa application ng papers ko? And what should be done to rectify this? Sabi ng hubby ko I shouldn't stress over this, but on my part I want to know if this will cause a problem so I can do something about it.

Could you clarify, in the name Dan Rob, if "Rob" is actually his middle name or part of his first name..?

In Canada, we would usually hyphenate the first name if it's composed of two distinct names - like "Anne-Marie", although I have occasionally seen "Anne Marie". Either way, if his passport/birth certificate says "Dan Rob" (no hyphen), it would probably be safe to omit "Rob" or use the initial "R" because here we would likely consider it to be a middle name.

Also, are those the shortened or abbreviated versions of his name(s), or is it really just "Dan Rob"? Could it be "Daniel Robert" or something similar to that?

Generally, in Canada, the use of a middle name is often excluded since it is just another given name and doesn't indicate our mother's maiden name as it does in the Philippines. Including our middle name on legal documents is not always required and doesn't normally cause confusion as long as the first name and surname (last name) are there.

For your second question, did your husband have a birthday just after applying for the marriage license and before getting the marriage contract? Or are you saying that there is a mistake on the license or contract? If there is not a mistake, and your husband's birthday occurred just before the marriage contract was signed, it shouldn't be a problem as long as his birthdate on the form(s) is correct.

binasa ko ulit yung post. Hindi nga po malinaw. Kung ang name ng asawa mo ay Dan Rob Surname?. Dan 1st name nya, automatic na Rob is the middle name na dyan. Then yung surname nya.
Di po kasi kumpleto yung nasabi mong name kaya nalito din ako sa sinabi mo kaya akala ko you'll need correction.

if his name ay nakasulat gaya ng Joel James Han. Joel yung 1st name, James Middle Name and Han ang surname; then don't stress out yourself, tama yung nakalagay nga sa marriage certificate nyo. Pag Pinoy kasi, ang middle name natin ang mother's maiden name; pero sa Canadians yung second name nila ang middle name. Yung mother's maiden name wala na yun.

@ skyemoriah hindi pede ie abbreviation ang Rob.. dapat give name xa... even sa MC kasi yong sa Case ko .. yong Middle name nang Asawa ko is Wilkinson... But he is using John Douglas Bjornson... And then ang taga Local Register make John D. Bjornson. So i went there office back to correct the D. if your Husband using second name as his Middle name. You need to Given that second name to the MC... not to abbreviate.
but in our i correct beefore pass to the NSO for Electronic Endoresment... So wala na kami probs sa ngaun about his Second Name.
