Confirmation of Nomination: 4/13/2015
Applied for permanent residency: 5/14/2015
Start of Processing: 5/14 /2015
Acknowldegement: 6/24/2015
Upfront Medical Exam: 5/5/2015
Request for Passport: 7/31/2015
Passport sent to embassy 8/2/2015
Application Closed and Approved 8/15/2015

Yes ang embassy ang magpapadala sayo get ready lang sa amount na P95.20 pero itetext ka naman ng dhl kapag nahirapan silang ilocate ang house mo for pick up.

I finally received an email response from CEM today. They confirm receipt of my spouse's passport and other docs sent on June 8 and that his application is still in process. ??? : :-\

Ilang weeks po binabalik ng CEM ang passports? And pano po pag minor need paba ng travel clearancw kung ako (ate) lang kasama?

Nkaindicate na sa ecas na in process. Pero pag click ko yung in process wla pang nkalagay sa loob kahit medical result received pero submitted na buong medical ko.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight."

What a great reminder that whenever God intended to approve our application, it's according to His plan and He knows best. Everything He does is for the good of those who love Him
And for His glory! Keep the faith and let's keep encouraging each other. <3 <3 <3 Love the love in this forum.

What a great verse, thank you sustagen for sharing it. You're right God's plan is the best plan, we may not understand it now but later when we look back we will clearly understand why did it happen this way. Aabangan mo nalang yung sa E-cas update mo, check mo every tuesday at sunday..dont worry as early as two weeks or months (sa amin 5 mons) bago mag-DM.

Hi Guys.. Share ko lang.. Nag email ako last week sa CEM and they just replied and says:


Your spouse`s application is currently being processed. Please do not make travel arrangements as we are unable to guarantee a specific date of issuance of his visa. Kindly note that your family members’ application was received in Manila on 15 June 2015. As indicated in our website, processing time on this category is 17 months. Rest assured that we are diligently processing his application and will contact you or your spouse by email or phone if further documents or information are required.


I think in process na din yung application ko kahit application received parin yung ecas. Tama ba?


Its tuesday today so lets hope for updates on our applications!

Sana naman po may maka-sagot sakin dito.

My mom went to Canada as a Tourist year 2005. I dont know what year her visa expired. She applied as Refugee but got denied on year 2008, but she still stayed in Canada though. She met someone on 2009 and eventually got married on 2011. She applied for Spousal Sponsorship but requested to go back here in the Philippines. She went home unescorted within the period given to her by the immigration. When I check her applcation in CIC.GA, it says that her application was received November 2013 along with our medical results. Days passed and the last request from her by the Manila Immigration was to pay for the Authorization to Return and Fill out the TRV (Temporary Resident Visa) sent July 16, 2015. We settled it immediately, however, until now we haven't received any news about our application yet.

Is there anyone experienced this? How long do we still need to wait for the decision? What step will be next? Is it the decision or will they ask for our passport next?

I hope someone can help or give advice.
