I'm synyx! It's my first time to post here but I've been reading your posts since August 2014 when I got an email requesting my pp, aom and appendix A.

Let me share to you guys my experience in COA seminar email.

Last Oct 7, 2014, my cellphone rung signalling that I got a message. (Automatic kasi ung cp ko n makareceive kht gmail, tumutunog cp ko). I got an email for COA pdos. After reading it, I immediately register through COA registration online (cguro after 20 minutes ata yun) then I received email again confirming my registration. I waited a day for my date of COA seminar and I received an email yesterday, Oct 8. COA asked me to choose what date of COA seminar I prefer. My choices are Oct 13 (MON) and Oct 15 (WED). Well I chose the earlier date, Oct 13, also my spouse agreed. I emailed them but I got no reply (after 2-3 hours ata yun). So, I tried another option, I texted the 0917---------68 (COA cp #) at 2:30pm (PST) and I got a reply confirming my date of seminar at 4:11 pm (PST). The contents of the text are
1. The date and time
2. What to bring
3. What to wear
4. The location/address

Okay I hope tomorrow I will have reply regarding COA seminar because I confirmed today that I will attend but no reply yet what to bring, to wear or something like what you got...Thank you so much for your post. It gave me some ideas....

Received my confirmation already with the reminders as to what to bring and wear.
Hoping na sana by then I will be carrying my passport with visa, instead of the alternative na photocopy of the biopage of the passport (which we all have in file).

Hoping and praying for DM soon!!! See you all on Oct 29 for those with the same sched as mine!

hahay sis, nakaka inip maghintay but my hubby would always remind me not to worry of it kasi alam na ni Lord ang gagawin nya kahit hindi pa natin hinihingi.. let's be thankful na dumating tayo sa stage na ito na naghihintay for visa kasi nakakalungkot din pakinggan yung iba na nagkaproblema sa application kahit first stage pa lang...

hahay sis, nakaka inip maghintay but my hubby would always remind me not to worry of it kasi alam na ni Lord ang gagawin nya kahit hindi pa natin hinihingi.. let's be thankful na dumating tayo sa stage na ito na naghihintay for visa kasi nakakalungkot din pakinggan yung iba na nagkaproblema sa application kahit first stage pa lang...

Sana magtuloy tuloy positivity sakin, alam mo naman nega ako.
But I don't feel may new protocol sila or big change na ginagawa, kasi this seminar.. yung sa COA, its no really new. It's better to put it as a seasonal event. May nag ganito na nung January of this year (as I've read in a blog post, linked in one of the posts here), and again, its during this time of the year na mabagal talaga processing due to a lot of factors, check our data. March onwards na applicants usually affected, I read there na november sila halos nag-sialis.. Syempre may spill over na previous year and January to February.

But ayun nga, hay nakakaloka maghintay. We're all tired of waiting kaya kung ano ano na lang naiisip natin. Keep the faith, it will come.

Maybe, you will receive an email tomorrow if you forwarded your confirmation through COA email today. I hope we have same pattern.

pwedi mo ba e send sa akin ang link ng blog na yan sis? ganyan din kasi gawain ko kapag nasa bahay na, nagbabasa nang blogs but hindi ko nakita itong na mention mo na january pa sila nagpo-promote nang COA..

I just got an email today regarding the confirmation of COA seminar. I emailed the COA Manila @ coamanila @ iom.int yesterday, Oct. 8, 2014.

Maybe, you will receive an email tomorrow if you forwarded your confirmation through COA email today. I hope we have same pattern.

Synyx I got the reply already this afternoon. I have to print my PPR and there's something else to bring too like what you got maybe. Thank you so much. It's confirmed now my reservation.

Aside from printed/photocopied biopage passport, I think, sa email ko kasi, letter from the Canadian Embassy (medical/pp request) indicating your application #, UCI or Embassy file # is requested to bring. And a valid ID (for gate pass).
Let us hope that this will be a step closer to DM.

ako sis nag email din nov 29 ang schdule ...tapus nag email din ako for confirming my date seminar till now wala pang reply...mas ok ba yung e txt ko n lng..mag reply b sila agad...?

I've been reading and searching for this seminar and looks like it, it has been going for years already. Truly not part of a new protocol.
Even if you dint get an email, you can actually attend these seminars (COA & CIIP). Sana tomorrow may batch update, para by the end of October, a handful of us are set to depart.

To those na walang nareceive na email of confirmation of their registration/ confirmation of slot, check spam/junk mail too, they might have fallen there, as mine did.

Yes I am really hoping because I want to be with my husband so bad...I am not allowing him to come visit me coz I don't want him to leave me again... I hope that Lord will help us.
