Hi Bluebird, once approved ka na as PR, nde na pwedeng icancel yun ng sponsor mo.

But because of the new rule, yung Conditional PR, -- you need to stay with your spouse or partner for two years after you receive your permanent resident status. Dahil kung hindi, you may lose your PR status and be removed or ordered to leave Canada.

Applicable sayo ang Conditional PR if:
1) Nareceived ng CIC ang application nyo on or after 25 Oct 2012.
2) At the time nung application nyo eh wala pa kayong anak ng sponsor mo and you have been married pa lang for 2 yrs or less

Or if you have proof , pwede nang nde i meet yung “two year” condition if:
1) Your spouse/partner dies OR
2) You can show that your spouse/partner abused you (physically, sexually, psychologically or financially) or neglected you (did not provide you with the basic needs for living).

If nde applicable sayo yung condition PR, wala na ding 2 yrs condition, so wala na magagawa ang sponsor to 'cancel' your PR in case of marriage breakdown. Although pwede ka pa rin mareport sa CIC, and magka 'red flag' sa records mo sa CIC.

you need to stay 3 years out of 5 years para ma maintain ang PR, meaning sa 5 taon dapat nag stay ka sa canada ng 3 years. ung 2 years pwede ka magbakasyon sa pinas.
kung mareceive mo ang copr mo na may CONDITIONAL PR ibigsabihin kelangan mo makisama sa iisang bubong sa asawa mo for 2 years.

pag usapan nyo nalang po ng asawa mo ang mga issues,baka kulang lang kau ng communication, alam mo na long distance is really a challenge for couples.

kaya nga sana di na nila patagalin ung pag hiwalay ng mag pamilya or mag asawa

Marjorlie08 yun bang nasa timeline mo application filed means yun yung date sponsorship was sent to mississauga case cntre? Kasi ako aug.1,2014 sent to missisauga..kaso khit avknowledgmwnt letter to date wala nareciv yung husband ko if ano nangyari sa application package sa misssauga..matagal ba sila mag acknowledge?

Hi Lorenz! YUng app recvd sa timeline ko eh yun yung date na nareceived nang CPC-M yung application namin.. Did you checked already the processing time for sponsor's approval? kasi if you are still within the processing time wait mo lang yung email nila, but if lagpas ka na then call CIC.

Yes 9am to 12noon then after that interview, if you are lucky on that day makukuha muna certificate at stickers mo. Hindi ka na babalik.

Thanks GuelphON, btw did CEM email or called you about your visa? or meron ka ba kilala diot sa forum na tinawagan sila then inform sila na papadala na passport with visa? tumawag kase ako sa DHL pero hinihingi sakin tracking number.....just wondering nakakaloka mag antay..... :-X :'(
