@KHUDA22

oo tama sya... please check mo kasi sa akin rin 6 months ang processing time, though ilang beses na ibinalik na namin yung application namin sa Misssissauga...kaya tuloy hindi ko alam kung saan ako magsisimula magbilang....but then, alam mo ba i have a friend na parehas kayo ng case...as far as i know they use the representative to handle their processing....and now they are living together in canada....oh..diba ang saya...kaya siguro...talagang...totoo ang kasabihan...PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE... :)

I think 6 months yung nakalagay hinahanap ko nga ngayon pero di ko makita pero alam ko talga its 6 months kaya I was bothered when they answered 12 months now. i don't know if they are just prolonging the agony of the applicants or backlog lang talaga. I do hope will have a positive answer sooner than soon! thanks talaga ha for talking to me. anyway san pala ikaw sa canada or yung asawa mo? did you try asking your MP's help?

I am still trying to find the AOR they sent me eh kaso wala talaga siguro na misplaced ko but i'll try again. just got home kasi from the office tsaka lam mo yung disconcerted talaga ako kanina nga umaga sa sobrang down ko bigla akong napasakay ng taxi na para akong binudol budol ng mama na nagpadagdag ng 20 then i went to 7-11 na kung anu2 yung nabili ko hahahahaah para na kong luka2. buti na lang my partner is very supportive , i get my strength from her and she always comfort me when I'm down. we just finished talking kasi ginising ko sya for work and on the way na sya sabi nya I have her 100% all the way and positive energy attracts positive result :) Hmm talaga? we didn't use a representative first because of the fee mejo expensive tsaka we tried to do it as personal as possible. She just seeked advices from a lawyer and legit.ca parang NGO for lesbians and gay then binigyan nila kami ng tips. Sabi naman we have a strong case due to immigration barrier and yung denial ko ng 3x sa TRV made our case stronger. Well super pray na lang na open minded and compassionate yugn VO na mag review ng application namin at makita nya na genuine talaga ang relationship namin even if we started lang online. By the way, kasi yung conjugal is under family class so we should have the same processing times. Ikaw msta ang application mo?? thanks for your reply ha

we dont ask our MP yet kasi nasa loob pa naman ng 6months... sa vancouver yun asawa ko... minsan naiisip ko din na baka naman yun age namin ang reason kaya tumatagal... kasi 23 ang wife ko at 26 ako at kinasal lang kami last year at wala pa kaming child pero 8years na relationship namin since highschool pa... ang hirap ng ganito kasi kasama ko lagi sya araw-araw since noon pa at halos sa bahay na nga namin nakatira tapos biglang magkakahiwalay feeling ko im so useless without her... kaya nakaka relate ako sa sadness mo to the highest level.

Hi! Sa tingin ko wala naman bias ang Canada when it comes to sexual orientation. If you read their website, you'll see na para naman pantay ang rights na binibigay nila sa atin. I'd like to believe this, since, I will be sponsoring my partner too when I get to Canada. Haay. Lahat ng nararamdaman mo, naramdaman naming mag anak lahat iyan. Alam mo ba nag start ang processing ng application namin nung March 27, 2007 pa, and it was only until May 2010, na Decisions Made ang status namin. We mailed our passports kanina. waiting na lang kami for the visa. So don't loose hope. :)

Law sa Canada to respect and treat everyone equally ~ no discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, etc. Nasa Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms yan. And here in Vancouver, in my observation, they really frown upon people who discriminate against others. Very multicultural dito and I feel that people here respect others talaga. May mga maloloko rin, pero everywhere you go, meron at meron talagang pasaway. Anyway, just hang in there. I don't think may bias. Everyone's case is different but everyone applying needs to prove the same thing: that their relationship is genuine. So hang in there lang and just show them the truth. :) Goodluck on your application!

Anyway, congrats dun sa mga nakakuha na ng visa packages nila. :)

My husband will be arriving here in Vancouver on July 4! :) Finally, magsasama na kami. :)
Goodluck to everyone! Hope you get your long awaited DMs soon!

Hi kissyaman! Kami kasi 6months na last June 7 and sabi nila we can follow up na sa MP dahil lagpas na sa normal processing time so we tried. Unfortunately I am not sure if they are still reviewing, will review or for interview yung sagot sa amin ng embassy. I am just keeping my fingers crossed kasi in reality conjugal class is very tricky althou parang designed sya for same sex at may immigration barrier like us , parang marami pa rin sila duda. Unlike sa spouse talaga it's much easier i guess para sa akin. Ok lang yan age gap , kami din eh I am 4 yrs plder than her pero she is treating me like a baby sya pa yung mas malawak hahahaa. Naturally magkakatampuhan kasi we are away with each other and pressure talaga itong waiting game natin. We all are going through this, fortunate na nga lang yung mga nakaraos na! Ahhhh ang sweet nyo naman Higschool sweethearts pala kayo, don't worry you are bind by GOD and he will guide you in this battle. Patience talaga para sa atin is a MUST minsan is a Biscuit haahahahaha. This too shall pass in HIS time. At least we have a forum where we can vent out, get strength and comfort from one another. Thank you talaga and I appreciate yung time mo sa pagsagot sa akin. Basta let's keep each other abreast from time to time. One day lahat tayo nasa Canada na and who knows we might bump into each other. By the way , wer ka sa Manila??

Hi ralphrazel! Yeah i agree that there Canada is not bias. Kaya nga we are so thankful that they are open in this kind of relationship and consider us under family class. We want to live a normal life in Canada kasi alam mo naman dito sa atin di pa masyadong tanggap ng society. Teka bakit ang tagal naman ng approval mo? What did you apply for ba? Independent Immigrant?? If I may ask yung partner mo married na ba kayo? Bakit di mo sya kasabay pupunta now? Thank god at na DM ka after your agony, I should be thankful pa nga at tignan mo ikaw you patiently waited for your turn. Thanks for the interest , naku interesting talaga yung story namin ng partner ko and siguro kasi kakaiba ako dito sa forum most of you guys are under spouse, kaya nga mejo mahirap talaga intindihin ang conjugal. Thank you all for being open minded and helpful in your own ways. I do hope interviewhin na lang nila ako kasi mahirap kugn they will decide from what they have lang tapos kung anu lang yung nasa isip nila. As i've read from other forums, may mga VO daw kasi na hindi pa masyadong knowledgeable about conjugal at discrimanating. They based it dun sa gsto na lang nila isipin, yun lang apprehension ko, sana talaga compassionate yung VO na matapat sa amin. :)

Hi Ktong! Congratulations, finally you will be reunited with your husband! Cloud 9 ang feeling I bet , I am always daydreaming of my flight bound for canada hehehee. It has been a very tough battle for us, waiting game, devastating days/ nights without them , and anxiety attacks hahahaa. Hopefully our VO will not be biased and knowledgeable in this kind of relationship. We can't deny the fact that ours is not yet accepted by some of other people, pero I know nga in Canada they are multicultural and open in this kind of relationship. Kaya nga sana maisip ng VO na hindi naman pwedeng mag backward ang partner ko for us to be together. You are right, we have to prove that our relationship is genuine. Nakakapraning lang, we are in a limbo, no clues, feedbacks for how many nights and waiting in vain. Sabi nga ng partner ko ako na lang ang kulang doon, her family is waiting for me as well.

My partner is in Toronto , 12yrs after they migrated she sometimes feel alienated with other people pa rin. They look at her as different, her physical appearance is androgynous but she is not super butch type naman talaga. She have few friends na pareho nya but mostly she's with her mom,dad and sister lang talaga. Her past relationships were Long distance , luckily I am her longest :). We've been together for 2 year and 5months na, and we somehow proved skeptical peeps that we can get thru this barrier between us. Looking forward na lang kami sa mangyayare and we surrender everything to HIM. Thank you for all your kind and encouraging words. I do hope one day I sing " All my bags are packed I'm ready to go". Again congrats ha and super happy ako talaga sa mga na DM. Take care and God bless us all!

Hi everyone!

I am new to this forum but I was reading this thread for quite a while now. My husband is the one who is sponsoring me and we are really anxious waiting for any feedback from the Canadian office. The thing is my husband already sent our papers to CPC-M around first week of April and after three weeks he received a letter asking for additional information or proof of our relationship though we already passed our marriage certs, answered all the forms but still we added more and sent it back. He was able to accomplish the other information asked from us and sent it around 2nd week of May. ( I am sorry I don't know the exact dates and even my husband can't remember the exact dates he sent out the forms the first and last time).

What is tougher is that we can't even see any updates through ECAS if they already received it or not. I'm not sure what is happening. They already received it the first time and asked for additional documentation but they were not able to update it online.. I am just frustrated waiting and praying for any updates at all..
:(

I have nothing helpful to say accept that "I understand the frustration of waitng and praying and hoping". I'm sorry this is so hard.
