My wife got Saskatchewan Immigration nominee Program after working for 6 months in SK as per the clause and I too got it being her spouse. She is in SK, Canada and I am in India. Now she has applied for her Work Permit extension and is expecting it in next 15 days. She works in Mcdonalds and is not a manager. Once she gets her work permit, can I apply for an Open work permit as I have read it on a canadian site that I become eligible in such a case. A CIC employee said it to us on phone that the ground reality is that such a Visa is very hard to get. I cant apply for a Visitor Visa as I lost my job 1 year ago and is currently unemployed.
Pls advice as we are staying separately for the last 2.5 years !!
