congratulations.!! I'm also March-2014 applicant and my status is still in-process. My re-medical was done in May-2016.

We emailed to visa officer and he replied today that my file is under routine background check and they will contact if anything they need.

Don't know how much time they will take more?

Dear Experts,

I have sponsored my family, which is in Pakistan. The sponsorship case is still in process. One of my daughters got admission in Canada and she got student visa and went to Toronto.
My question is: when the Canadian embassy will ask me to send the passport to Islamabad for visa pasting, i can send the passports of my family members who are in Pakistan but what about my daughter, who is already in Canada? where she will send her passport?

Is it a very DIFFICULT question as no one replied?

You'll have to tell LVO that she is currently in Canada, and most likely they will send you instructions to forward her passport to the office in Ottawa.

When i was trying to link my application. It says that my representative tied to this application.
If i want to access my application. I have to fill the form then i have an access.
but it give me a message
"If you no longer want to use a representative and access the application yourself, you can cancel your representative by filling it"
So it's mean my lawyer will not access to my application anymore???

Can someone else dropp off and collect the passport?

Correct. I have the same problem, I can't link my application cause I have a lawyer, and if I sign and send that form in, then effectively you are giving up your lawyer to receive emails/information on your behalf. It stupid why they don't have like a read-only option for sponsors. :'( :'(

Hi all, I would like to know if one can sponsor their spouse from overseas being employed part-time or they have to have full-time job in order to sponsor their spouse?

You can have no job at all and still sponsor your spouse.

Btw guys,

For the photocopies of your entry/exit stamps of your passport, do they have to be certified/notarized as well? or simple photocopies of these entry/exit stamp pages will do?

You can send them without notarized since

Snowy2015 how is it possible? Is it the citizen who could sponsor this way with no job or a permanent resident could also do that?
