Medical about to expire in 1 week and I haven't received re-medical request. File transfer to LVO in Oct 2014.
Online status shows “application received”. No correspondence started yet.
How do they send a remedial request by email or mail?

Anyone about the same time frame?

If you have provided them with your email address then you authorizes them to start email communication. If you don't then they will communicate through regular postal mail.

It varies file to file but you may receive something in next 2/3 months.

They have sent me the acknowledgment via email but I have never received any email from CIC.... so I called Mississauga and tell them the situation, So they have sent me the another one via mail.

I hope this is not the case again.

mine was transferred late Sep or early Oct.
I haven't received medical request as well.

was it your complete rukhsati or nikah only case?
Did you try asking them notes?

Hello Everyone,

I have been a silent reader at this forum for months now. It goes without saying that this forum and its members are extremely helpful and encouraging. I cannot appreciate the members enough. Having said that, I am in a dilemma. I hope that you can help me. Please see below for my timeline.

Case: Applied for wife
Applied: Late June 2014
File Transfer: Late August 2014
Office: London
Up Front Medical: January end 2014
Medical Request: Not Yet

They say that no news is good news but you can see where my dilemma is. It has been more than 10 months since my file was transferred to London and no re-medical request yet even though my up front medical expired in late January, 2014. Should I be worried?

I sent a case specific inquiry in the beginning of May. They replied saying that my file is in queue still and pending review by an officer. Is it possible that they would be doing background checks before re-medical and that is why it is taking time?

Do they let us know if they put our file in an interview queue?

I would really appreciate if the senior members can help me out. Thanks a lot. Much appreciated.

I did order notes in late feb and I plan to order notes yet again middle of July

my online status is for Permanent Residence

1.we recieved your application for permanent residence on may 17, 2011.

2.we started processing your application on september 12 , 2014

3.medical results have been recieved

4.A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

its been 6 months they still didnt replied concerning that decision. i have sent email to cic n in response got the automated email that we will reply you in 25 days but still its been 2 months after that email they didnt responded . now the question is how should i approach them directly or what should i do .n is that a positive or negative sign ??

Hey when u send ur passport for visa..they only put visa on passport or give landing paper too?

yes our process took a long lonngg time
but did my re medical in 2014 november
decision made was since from january 2015 but still no email from them dont know what to do feeling really sad

No, you do not need to get PR card attested.

May Allah sort your situation out the way you want it to be.
Do you think they might be delaying because of your wife's pregnancy?

INSHA ALLAH. Brother in the notes it is clearly mentioned that if she do not do the complete medical with xray (which she did) extend their medical and the couple will send the medical with their baby's information.

But we did complete medical, all of our checks are passed. There is no official reason of delaying in the application, although don't know if they want to delay it to the extend that she can't travel .

What does BFD mean?

I heard that it means bring forward date (which is the date the officer will look at the case next)

am i right?

Well i strongly recommend that you order notes, they normally only respond to inquiries directly if they need something from you. Notes will give you a very good idea on where you stand with regards to eligibility, criminal and security checks.

I know, i know. Thing is we know everything's complete. Someone in the immigration said that you can expect to hear something after six months of medical as my file is in queue. Its been over four months already...so i'm just waiting.
