Quick question. I applied for spousal immigration as well. Application acknowledged on Dec. 16th and file sent to LVO on Dec. 29th. I am wondering why was LVO chosen for my wife as she was born in UAE and is currently a resident of UAE. Should this not be sent to Abu Dhabi?

Also, what's the typical processing time for LVO?

I believe it has to do with her current nationality. Not where the applicant is residing.

Thank you. Makes sense. Will she have to go to Islamabad for her interview then? Also anyone aware of typical LVO timeline after status is changed to DM.

Hey guys so I see that people who got their files transferred to LVO now have "Decision made" shown on "Sponsorship application status" but for me it still shows as "In Process" even though my file was transferred to LVO long time ago. Has this happeend to other ppl as well?

yes it happens with other too, mine is also showing in progress.

Interviews are not mandatory part of the process. If the Visa officer is not convinced they will request for interview and most likely interview would be in UAE.

Which decision made are talking about..sponsor sode of the application? If yes then in 2016 it is an average of 8 months as per the excel spreadsheet we have prepared. see link in my signature.

If you want to add yourself to the spreadsheet, please share your details.

If you did not have mycic account when the request of add documents were made, you should have posted the documents to the visa office in London. Maybe this is the delay.

LVO received my application on May 13, 2016....and they requested me additional pics and documents via email and I replied to their email with the require pics and documents. I got automatic reply that we received your email and we will get back to you in 28 working days. I do have account with CIC via my email but i dont know that how to get mycic account and do i really need that account?

Enquiries marked as urgent by the sender and deemed urgent after review will receive a response within 24 to 48 hours. Film/Media crews travelling on short notice will receive a response within 5 days. If you have submitted new information, we will update your file without replying to confirm.
