hello everyone just wondering before you guys get the AOR did u get an email first? or no?? I'm getting really worried since my husbands status will expire on the 5th of august.. I submitted our application may but got it back because of some missing documents. I resent it June 24 and they got it on their office june26 via canadapost. now is July 25 and haven't heard anything from them yet.!!

We are in very similar situation, first application returned then new application sent June 26. keep me informed if you got AOR. thanks.

yes, most of the docs these days have e-meds. ours have already been submitted.

i know we have a window of 30 days for submission, but we got really messed up during PCC and had to do fingerprints twice as the first results arrived in mail past 30 days

so we planned not to take any more chances and get it done asap.

My name is Alessandra and I'm going to share my story and timeline.

I'm Italian and my husband has double citizenship (Italian and Canadian). We got married in Italy in December 2014, he returned to Canada one week after to set everything up for my arrival, and I joined him in April on a visitor Visa (actually italy is a Visa exempt country, so I didn't really apply for anything).
In the meantime I got into college and applied for a student visa, which will expire in November 2017.

Now, my program officially ended in May but, for disability related issues, I still have one class to complete. I won't be attending class, I just need to hand my assignments in.

Hubby and I decided it was time to apply for PR, so we submit our application along with OWP and it was received by the office in Mississauga on July 4th.

Haven't heard anything back since.

If anybody sees something strange with my timeline, please let me know!

You are still within timeframe. Its usually done within 4 to 6 weeks after they receive your package.
If you havent received it by then, you can call them to make sure it wasnt returned to you.

Also keep an eye on junk mail.

i would request senior members to comment on my sitauation. I stated my now wife as a childhood friend to bring her over to Canada after marriage. She is already here and we are now planning to file for her sponsorship application. We got married two months after she got her visa in our home country. At the time of our entry to Canada, we were asked by the CBSA offcer that why didn't i mention in the invitation letter that she was more than a friend? I told that we were not dating or engaged at that time (which is true as this being an arranged marriage), he allowed us entry with a time limit for which I have already applied for extension. I went to a immigration lawyer and hes asking us to put the actual events as they've happened in our story rather than what I've already stated to the CBSA officer and on the invitation letter. I met my wife in my home country and liked her, we did not get engaged that time as we still needed more time; I came back to Canada and applied for her visitor visa stating her to be a childhood friend (what other relation should I've written she wasn't a fiance or a girlfriend) she never came to Canada alone and we came together after our marriage. Now what should I write in the spousal application where they ask for the details on when and how did the relationship progressed and other details?

We finally have an email from CIC and our application is being reviewed. Just submitted Schedule A.

Is OWP open to all inland PR applicants? I know it takes awhile to get an answer from CIC about PR, so we were wondering if it's worth applying for an OWP now.

2) The country where you have spent most of your adult life since the age of 18. ​

Question 1: I have been currently living with my partner in Canada for more than a year. But where we can submit the document online says that "You must provide a police certificate for every country, region or territory, other than Canada, in which you have spent 6 months or more."
So do I have to submit police certificate from Canada?

Regarding form Schedule A IMM 5669,
1. Personal History: When I was a student in France from 2011 to 2014, and I travelled a lot around Europe as well as home country, do I have to include in personal history?

2. Address History: During the time I was a student in France from 2011 to 2014, I visited my home country for some months (so no house contract in France this period), do I have to include the address in my home country along with address in France? And do you put the address when you travelled around in this?
