Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

Hi all,

I have a few questions:
1. I am currently in the express entry system with no luck so far, and i am getting married this year. Should I remove my EE profile and only work on the sponsorship that my fiance will do, or can i keep both profiles?

2. Will they cause issues if i do not wish to get my name changed?

3. What is the current wait times to get paperwork ready and in order to send to CIC?

4. I got police clearances done for a few countries. Can i open them and read what they say? or is it confidential?

Hello everyone. Husband just got his 2nd AOR from the mail (even though we have a representative, I was expecting all correspondence from cic to be mailed to them). Its an automated letter that contains the unique file number for the app. Its dated June 10 from the Application Intake Case Processing Centre Missisauga.

Is everyone supposed to get second AOR??

I only got the first AOR for the sponsor in May. I am a late Feb 2016 Applicant.

It's hit and miss it seems, depends on the office and the VO whether AOR2 or even AOR1 is sent.

I noticed that only 2 people who submitted a sponsorship application with work permit application in Jan 2016 have not received work permit as yet. Also of all the people who submitted a sponsorship application with work permit application in Feb 2016, only one has not received their work permit yet. No Mar 2016 applicants who submitted a sponsorship application with work permit application in Mar 2016, heve received their work permit yet.

I submitted by application on May 5th and received Application received notification on June 5th. Today I received an email from CIC stating that one of my forms is incomplete and I need to complete it and sent them back within 30 days. I am happy that my application is moving but lil nervous too. Has anyone got such emails and asked to complete their incomplete forms. Is it normal?

Your responses will relieve my stress to a huge degree.

Following on from my earlier post...would you believe it? Seems I made the cut for the streamlined processing, AOR1 arrived 5 minutes ago which means it took 20 days, rather than a month...my date received according to CIC is exactly the same as the date I had from the post office...3/6/16

Can someone update the spreadsheet?

Same here. My spouse got the email today, they want Form IMM5669 and/or IMM5406. The thing is, I don't know what we did wrong. I have to peruse both forms again.

Are you gonna mail these documents or can we just upload these documents? Also did you fill out 5406 in your native language too?

double check the version of the documents. more than likely, the ones submitted were older and they need the updated versions. they don't like outdated forms, even though nothing has technically changed on them. you'll see the month/year of the form somewhere on it.

Call CIC customer service and ask what should you do if there are no instructions in the email. The email I got they told me what needs to be done but I called CIC customer service to clarify again. They helped me out.

There's an instruction in the email CIC sent. They gave us a link where we can upload the requested documents.

I checked it last night to confirm we used the updated versions. I think we found the mistake. One digit typo on our part, ooops. We will upload the documents tonight.
