Hi,

Do I pay all of the fees up-front or only the Sponsorship assessment? A little confused with this one.

Thank you!

you have to pay the sponsorship fee and the applicant fee up front. you can pay the right of permanent residency fee upfront, or you can wait until it's requested.

i waited to pay the PRPF when it was requested, and received "decision made" 2 weeks later, so at least for ottawa, waiting to pay the last fee does not delay processing.

You need to pay the 75.00 application fee for the sponsor and then the prinicipal applicant fee of 475.00 upfront

The RPRF - Right of Permanent Residence Fee - of 490.00 can be paid upfrot with application, later on while you are waiting or when it is asked for by the visa office. This last option isn't one you want to do if you could avoid it. This can slow your application by a couple months - but not always. You are better off paying 1040.00 upfront if you can or at least the 550.00 and the 490.00 as soon as you can.
