Sponsorship after filing consuma proposal

Hi i applied for spousal sponsorship under family class in dec 2017. And my application is in progress.
Due to certain situations i had to file consumar proposal this month ( Feb 2018) so i wanted to know if someone has similar kind of experience with their sponsorship application.
Does consumar proposal affect sponsorship application.?
Please advise guys

Consumer proposal is different from a full bankruptcy, so should not have any effect on PR app.

I've never seen an app refused due to a proposal. As i said, it's not a bankruptcy so you can properly answer "no" to those questions.

Yes it could be a big problem. If visa officer decides to look at sponsor's info again for whatever reason and sees a bankruptcy on record, they will probably deem them ineligible at that time and reject the app.

If a sponsor is considering bankruptcy, they should wait until PR app is fully approved and the applicant has landed.
