I felt like I can't do this anymore, it hurt so much :-[

It is not the process you can't do anymore, it is the pain you want to stop. I know how it hurts. It is up to you to give up or not. It is your choice. Would you prefer to suffer a full year (I just read that a member in Saskatoon had to wait for one year to have her appeal) or for the rest of your life?

As for us, we have not been well since Friday. Our hearts are heavy with sadness and we are always on the verge of tears. Our energy is now quite low. If by December 1st, we don't hear from Rabat, I am going to email them an inquiry.

Habibti, tell me what ADR is really like?( I sit down front of the judge or something) you attend ADR hearing to learn more about how it work. you had a full set hearing, so what it is like?

We were not qualified for ADR. We got chosen for full hearing. As I said before, I am there in person and my husband is on the phone.

If you get ADR and you lose, you are allowed to go to full hearing after (second chance you get). If you go directly to full hearing and you lose, you cannot ask for ADR.

Thank you Jenni for your kind words. I am hoping so much to have my husband on time for our second wedding anniversary which is on December 24.

hello all!!!

its been quite some time i havent came. Habibti just be patient you that we won the ADR in december then her got his visa in august but hopefully u guys will get it sooner.

As for the new people on forum jen & dani im really sorry to hear about refusals and difficult interviews....me and my husband has been through that refused then ADR and now he is here for 2months now so is always light under the tunnel.

Pedro for you it will be much easier seeing as your are both moroccan so its much easier the mixed couples so i wont take long for you dont worry.

The ADR well it was in front of the judge and my lawyer and a representative for the immigration which is against us she is the one asking quaestions like how did fall in love on the internet ...what re all the names of my husbands family memebers ...my lawyer also made a list of pictures and dates she asked me about those pics....asked me about our aspirations for the futur etc....it was 45min but it seemed like forever and then they said we need 5min to deliberate they came back and they consider our mariage genuine and i fell in tears of hapinness thats its over and we dont have to proove anything to anyone anymore...ouffff wha a journey then we had to wait like 8mths for my husband to come its not easy its long process and its mentally and emotionally exhausting ......i know we hate the word patience on this forum but that what you need a lot of.

I AM SO SO UPSET... SO MAD.... SO UPSET. Cannot believe it. I received an answer to my Case Specific Inquiry. The visa office wrote me. They said they received his medicals. They also said they sent email to my husband on September 20 and he has 60 days to comply, that is to send all the requested forms and documents. If not, received after 60 days they close the file. MY HUSBAND TOLD ME HE HAS NEVER RECEIVED THE SAID EMAIL. You know what? There was an extra G in his email address, therefore the email address was wrong! We lost SIX WEEKS! SIX PRECIOUS WEEKS! He could have been here for our 2nd wedding anniversary on December 24. I feel like kicking! screaming! I AM SURE THEY DID IT ON PURPOSE! THEY WILL HARASS US TO THE END. He will do a special trip to deliver in person the required documents. THANKS GOD MY IMMIGRATION CONSULTANT SAW MY FACEBOOK POST LAST THURSDAY AND RECOMMENDED ME TO WRITE TO THEM! WE CAME CLOSE TO LOSE IT ALL !!!!!!!!

It is not about money Dani... it is about politics. Just received an email from Rabat after I notified them of their (ANOTHER!!!) mistake:

Please accept our apologies for this error, the email address was incorrectly entered in our system. This mistake was corrected today.

DUH! My husband's address was already entered correctly in their system as he received a few emails from them before. And when you send something with the wrong email address, aren't you supposed to receive an error message???

This is really unacceptable!!! I hope that they are taking into account that the time lost was their fault, not yours!! I'm so sorry to hear that they have made such a costly mistake! You really have to keep on top of everything with this place. I wish there was some way that we could report this to some regulatory body...obviously someone needs to be keeping an eye on what's happening in these visa offices! They need to be held accountable for their mistakes. They need to recognize that they are playing with peoples lives!

TO all,

I spoke to a friend of mine over the weekend, who sponsored her husband from Tunisia, and she recommended that I write my MP for a letter of family reunification that they can send to the embassy in Rabat. She felt that this really helped her as her husband received his visa 2 weeks after the letter was send.

What do you think?

You are right. That is not acceptable! The notes of the interview were entered in the system SEVEN WEEKS after instead of the same day. The refusal letter was sent to us EIGHT WEEKS after the interview. We have lost so much time! And now this? We lost another SIX WEEKS because they added "ing" in his email address which should not be there. My husband could have been here already! I am at work and still crying over this... well trying not to cry in front of classes. They should have phoned him or mail a letter on top of the email to make sure he receives their request. Do you think it is still possible for him to get his visa on time for the holidays???
