Hello All,

I am currently in Canada on a study permit and my wife is collecting documents to apply for her open work permit. Can anyone please list down what documents she would need to present? Also, will it be essential for her to show family ties back home?

You can find all documents list in this forum. Find some time and look it. Family tie is MOST important to get visa. For that there are some option like spouse has job or student in back home country, have good amount of money in terms of property on his/her name, bank balance above 4000$ CND, insurance, IT returns and FDs. Travel history to other country is also plus point. Dont make file if you can not show these thing otherwise chances of rejection are more.
