I am a full-time international graduate student and my wife holds an SOWP, based on my study permit. I got my study permit extended a month ago and now we are applying to extend my spouse's SOWP (her SOWP is still valid until December 2023, 3 months from now). We are both in Canada now.
The SOWP application starts with the following question, which I do not really know how to answer, given that my spouse does NOT work in Canada. How should I answer this question?

- Restore my status as a worker --> I think this is not an option in my case
- Apply for a work permit for the first time or with a new employer
- Get a new temporary resident permit (for inadmissible applicants only) --> I think this is not an option in my case
