Hi guys,
I am on a post graduate work permit at the moment. I am trying to help my common-law partner to get an open work permit too. I know to do that I need a skilled job offer letter and a few pay stubs. There was a question that came up recently. I found a job that is on the film industry as I am graduate from film school. My title would be ''production manager'' which I believe goes under the NOC skilled titles. The production company willing to write me an offer letter.
Is it ok if the offer letter states that I am on a contract of 6 months with the potential of extension?
How the payment should be like? Most of positions like that would just give you a pay cheque and will consider you as a contractor. Would that qualify?
or I should try to get hired as an employee?
Please let me now.
Best regards.
