Skill Type "2" And Skill Level "A"

Hello guys.
I want to apply as FSW under category 1. My occupation falls under Skill Type "2" 0213 And Skill Level "A"
Can i apply on that Skill Level and Type. Please help.

Yes, NOC 0213 is on the list of 38 so you may apply.

I was able to go through a list of "Titles" and a list of "Main Duties" for 0213.

But, how can one identify, which Skill Type and Skill Level does he fall in. Because, on the NOC site, it's mentioned that 0213 is Skill Type - "0", but skill level is not mentioned anywhere.

I sent my forms for Federal skilled worker 1st March 2009 , they returned me back with a letter that my job experience details were incomplete ,Could anyone please help me by sending me completed" Schedule 3 page 2 (work experience) " by e-mail that I will be able to get ideas to fill and send again .

aanbaan - any NOC that starts with 0 is type 0. The level is not important (perhaps it doesn't exist either , i dont know about this)

For those that do not start with a 0, the level is important and this can be identified by looking at the second digit.

I think if the second digit 1,2 or 3, it is level A or B.

I don't know if the numbers I wrote above is accurate but it does have to do with the first and second digits.


Vmirkhani - look at your NOC on the NOC website and see what of those duties under your NOC you currently do. List those down in your own words.

If the first digit is 0 it's a manager position and falls under skill type 0, level not important.
If the first digit is not 0 but the 2nd is 1, then it's a skill level A
If the first digit is not 0 but the 2nd is 2 or 3, then it's a skill level B

Those above are the ones that you can count your work experience for points on an FSW application, jobs you can get an AEO for, jobs that is easy to immigrate with if you are on a temporary work permit etc.

There are also low or semi-skilled jobs:

If the first digit is not 0 but the 2nd is 4 or 5, then it's a skill level C
If the first digit is not 0 but the 2nd is 6, then it's a skill level D

Those jobs above would not let you immigrate except if you get certain jobs allowed under the BC or AB PNP's and then you'd have to go in on a temporary work permit and work for 6-9 months before being able to apply for PR with employer support.
