We upload bank statement/certificate while filling settlement funds section. Once we submit our application, funds will be converted. It means - whatever money you declare in your currency will be converted to CAD equivalent.

General trend is, if fund conversion happens, within a week (mostly), you will get nominated unless other key documents are missing.

Sorry to know that. I submitted my application on July 20, 2016 and my application turned to in process on August 10, 2016. My funds were converted on 31 August, 2016 and my nomination happened within an hour of funds conversion. Most of my friends also got nominated with in a week after fund conversion. So they say it is the last step before nomination.

For some NOCs, they have deliberately made the process slow. I have witnessed few applications rejected on silly reasons like responsibilities not accurate in reference letter etc. ( Mostly for NOC 2232 and never for 2171).

In your case, they are still reviewing some key details. Let's hope for nomination soon...

I Have applied under NOC 2171 in July 2016 EE quota. But previously I had applied under NOC 2174 back in 2015 december. At that time I was rejected because my funds were not 3 months old.
Now the same NOC 2174 was not available and only NOC 2171 was there which is quite similar to 2174 so I have applied under this NOC with the same experience letter that I used earlier. Moreover, In my job I am performing the job duties which are given under 2171 NOC

Do SINP have problem over this ?

Anyone here who have same case as me please share their views and anyone who have complete Knowledge over this also give your opinion ?

Got my nomination today, below is my timeline.

Noc 2253
Application submitted - July 21st
In process date - September 09
Additional documents - September 29th
Nomination - September 30th

Note.
I am yet to send requested documents (updated references from 4 former employers, settlement funds, educational transcript, and daughter's passport.

As far my understand we are not giving any cheque or DD while time of submitting the file. we only give statement of funds

Fund conversion is converting your funds to Canadian dollars. Example: If you show them 8 Lakh INR then it will be reflected as ~15000 CAD when fund conversion happens.

You local currency value mentioned in settlement funds screen will be replaced with CAD value.

Hey sp60, I have same timeline and similar situation. Previously applied under NOC-2174 in Dec 2015 and now NOC-2171 in July 2016 but nothing yet from SINP. But i am positive of getting nomination soon.

I have a fear in mind because SINP is opening caps after every 1 or 2 months but not making proper decisions on the previous files. stay in touch and please regular update me about your status if it changes. I will also let u know about mine. Hope to see u in Regina after 4 5 months lolzzzz..
