I am still waiting and my working permit is going to epxire in next month. :'(

I applied in 2011 and got my nomination last week with the help of my local MLA because my old work permit runs out on Sunday.

Try contacting yours as well. My Employer came with me to the appointment to explain his side (why they need me and such) to the case and it seemed like it made a good impression. They know who to call to get it going. A day after my visit I got a call from SINP promising me to do everything in their power to get it through on time. The next business day they asked to fill in my name on one of the forms where I forgot it (after 10 Months they finally realised that). Last week I sent another email to the MLA because SINP still didn't contact my Employer and the same day they called and I got my nomination. So if you're waiting more than 6 months you made have a chance.

This is my first time on this forum... I am an Indian origin, working at Middle East..
I have applied my application to SINP in Skilled worker category.

HERE IS MY TIME LINE...

13-06 2012 : Employer has applied to SINP for Job approval form.
24-08 2012 : Received SINP job approval form

28-08 2012 : Submitted my application to SINP along with approved job offer form
05-09 2012 : SINP aknowledge documents receipt with FILE No.

In addition to the above, SINP instructed in the letter that we should not contact them for checking application status, this may occur further delay the process. Therefore I am just waiting for their response at next stage..

Can anybody guide me here for processing time for SINP nomination in skilled worker category?
OR any one would like to share their experience to me..

SINP applications are moving at snail pace, there are people waiting for more than 12 months under skill worker category. Myself already in Canada applied under Health profession category, waiting time 8 months. So get ready for the long wait. There are other states where people have got their PR by this time.

Anyone have any application status upated since applied in 2012 ?

I email and request the status updated and gettint "in Process" in Auguest.

i applied for SINP for skilled category , i got acknowledgment letter on dated: `18.07.12 with username & password & status shown: application submitted. but still there is completer silence while 3 months are going over now......please let me know what should i do?

I got "acknowledgment Letter" on 18jul,12 with user name & password for SINP, in skilled category,
but yet i couldnot hear anything new from SINP, b/c my status is showing till now...application submitted"

is is almost 3 months going to be over.



please let me know,,..how much time to be need more.

YES I APPLIED FOR SINP & GOT "ACKNOWLEGEMENT LETTER" WITH USERNAME & PASSOWRD. FOR SKILLED CATEGORY ON DATED: 18JUL,12. MY STATUS SHOW: APPLICATION SUBMITTED" I WOULD TO KNOW THE FURTHER PROCESS & TIME BREAKUP.

sinp guys are sleeping from the month of may 2012 changes. specially the employer department is quite rude and lazy, they dont even respond to your emails or phone calls. i dont no what is going on over there.

Hi! I am a visitor in this country but tried applying for SINP.
I applied for mine January 2012, skilled worker category.
I brought all the application package in Hamilton office, here in Regina.
I was emailed a confirmation via email that they received my application w/ file number last Feb. 18, 2012
I never heard anything at all after their last email. (can't track down my application since I didn't do it online. I just keep extending my tourist visa, to stay legally here while waiting for nomination)

Hoping for input from u all about my situation. Wanna know how big is the chance that I will be nominated (since they gave me file number) & what's the next step after that?
