Hi there,

I'm Alan from Vietnam, a MPNP applicant. I got nominated by June 2012 and applied my application to Sydney NS by end of June 2012. Singapore VO already confirmed me the AOR by email and now I'm 'enjoying' the waiting time with you guys lol!

Could you plz tell me when I need to pay the permanent residence fee or right of land fee?
and Does Singapore VO still check the finanical fund proof of the applicant again before they issue us the visa?

Appreciate your replies and keep fingers crossed for all to get through this nervy process!

AOR date , means they confirmed received your file on xxx date. Have a look at our spreadsheet below...

Dear Nusrat,

Your are right that CIC confirm the AOR. In my case, they confirmed me via email and after a month I can log in Ecas with Application Received status (dated June 27th 2012)
In the email they also confirmed me that my file was transfered to Singapore VO for further processing.

Before chnages, VO mailed AOR letter. It chnaged this year, CIO mails AOR letter.

It looks like this year if we register our email in the application, they will confirm the AOR via email.
Im not sure how it works but I can log in the system without any single problem.

They will inform you when to pay the permanent residence fee or right of land fee. Wait for their instruction.

So far SGVO did not ask me provided proof of fund. I believe they will request it from applicant when needed. Really not sure.

You must have CAD$10,000 or more for one person, additional proof of fund for each family member (can't remember the amount but you can check from www.cic.gc.ca) when you enter Canada.
