Hi everyone,

In my case, I have submitted in Sept 2011. Medical done Jul 2014 (after the loooonnnggg wait and so many email send to Singapore VO). Now another WAITING for Singapore VO to revert what is the status and when they will request for passport.

Frustrated but we have no other option but to wait.

Hope after the long strike they can speed up their processing process and revert. It's definitely a long wait for me. :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

Keep our finger cross and hope things are smooth!

Dear it nearly gave a heart attack. I really thought they were become late while waiting for the visa

Only medicals requested in the email from CIC.

Congrats. It is really surprising that you got MR so soon while 2012 applicants are still waiting for MR.I wonder how it happened.

Beats me as well, but I'll go with the flow, probably as a blessing ...
Perhaps the MRs for rest are also coming soon, in particular 2012 applicants.

No offer as of yet and I hardly made any communication with the CIC, except once when my ECAS had issue.
So, really can't answer why my file was selected.

One guess is probably, the scrutinising of my background may have taken a shorter duration given that my childhood and work has only been in Singapore throughout.
Also have 3/4 of my immediate relatives based in Canada.

I could be wrong though... :'(

I've done my medical test since July, not sure how long it toke them to revert the status of my application. My sister only waited like less than two months to receive passport request after her medical test done. However, mine is still in process like almost closed to three months.

I'm just wondering how long do we need to wait for the next stage after the medical test is done.

I can imagine the wait for the passport request after being put to wait for the MR.
Hopefully it won't take too long and your passport request will come shortly..

My understanding is that the landing in Canada has to be within a year from MR.
So, with that in mind, we can do the planning of the move like selling stuff and packing.
Maybe that will divert the mind while waiting...
