Few days back I posted about how my status had changed online to "In process" and not received and mail from them as it been almost four weeks. Well I followed the good advisers here and contacted my mail office, and turns out there was no such mail there either. Then I emailed SVO to inquire if I had missed anything or if I should be expecting any sort of mail from them anytime soon. So today I got a reply from them and sure enough I should have been expecting something. They sent me an email right on the day my status changes to "In process" (August 11) on E-cas. And funny thing I didn't receive it. Well it's sure not funny when you find out that out of 60 days time period they give, you only have 30 days to comply. They asked me for a police certificate from 2 different countries. And I don't think 30 days will be enough to do this since it takes time. I am right on my toes and have started anything and everything I can do get them as soon as possible. But does anyone know if they can extend our time to submit our documents since we did not get the email on time? I am so over-stressed right now. Any help would be appreciated :)
As far as I know in my PPR, it said remedical within 30 days, other docs like passport, police certificate, photos, IMM... hv to be submitted within 60 days. I have to read that letter many times in order to understand thoroughly.

I sent my PP and other documents through VFS, Dhaka and they gave me a tracking no.

When I put the tracking number and Date of birth in the Tracking search area in VFS/Dhaka website then they shows that my PP reached SVO on Aug 27.

You can try that way.

Shaw.
I checked like what u said but it says very generally like " Visa application, tracking ID No........ is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, Singapore. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website

Hey that's awesome, your timeline is very similar to mine. Glad Singapore is really picking up the pace! I bet you have a strong application too right?

Thanks guy,
So defintely going to book it in Canada , is there a good online source where you can check the prices , i usually go to google flight and flightnetwork
I think the cheapest price going from Asia to Canada now is Eva airline ( going to taipei and then Vancouver , then to calgary )

thats what mine said too, but when you first send it, the status was different, it said that its being transfer to SVO, but then after 4 days it changed to your visa application is being processed
I think they changed the status as soon as they recieved it, so if you rememebr what was the date that this status changed from " being transfer" to " being process", then you know when it arrived at singapore office.

Hi Shaw,

My husband's passport reached SVO on September 3rd. so our timelines are pretty close. Do they send it after one month or has there been cases where they take little less than one month?

I will definitely keep you posted.

Hi Synthesis

From the research in this forum I remember one person who has a lot of experienced about this process commented couple of days ago that it took 60 days on average for SVO to return the PP. My opinion is the same. It may be less now-a-days as number of applicants in SVO gone down tremendously, I pray that too.

Send them through VFS, Dhaka. That is most secure and guaranteed reach to SVO, earliest and cheapest.

Hello Singapore applicants,
I have a question regarding the submission of my wife's passport to SVO. We got PPR on September 2nd, so on the same day we submitted her passport + IMM5669 updated + outstanding RPRF as indicated in the message received by SVO. I was reading in other forums (from 2013) that when you pay the RPRF after PPR it delays your visa around 2 months. So I would like to know if someone else in this forum has been delayed his/her visa because of this and how long? ;) I already sent the receipt of payment to CPC-M. Thanks for the answers. :)
