hi mirjahan. I was readin blogs from last year november and have seen that u seem to offer quite expert opinion. Hope u having a good time with family. i have quetion. Ecas replied me that they will send my medical to get a reassessment. And said this process will take 2to3 months and then they will let me know. Does reassessing medical takes that long? Also my counselor who is my representative he is sayin all further docs will come to me from singapore. He left canada and shifted to bd. Im so worried if singapore contacts him and he doesnt get their email or mail what will happen to me. should i write a letter to cic saying to send letters directly to me?

Hello Forum Members,

Just want to shared our landing experience on December 12th, It was very smooth only took us 7 minutes to completed all process with the Immigration Officer.

After walking out from the airplane we enter to the first Canadian Customs desk, I told the officer that my wife is here for landing as permanent resident. The officer asks the general questions: where are coming from, what did you bring with you? Any meat, fruit, alcohol, cigarettes…etc. then the officer stamped our Customs Declaration Card and handed back to us. Another officer directed us to another office which handling the landing process, we waited in line for about 10 minutes then the officer call us to the counter, I handed over my wife’s two copies of COPR paper and her passport/visa, the officer check on his computer system to verified all information are correct on the system that match the COPR paper, passport/visa and confirming the correct address, then the officer fill out the COPR papers and put his signature on both copies and asked my wife to signed both copies, then he handed back us the copy of COPR without my wife’s photo and he keep the one with the photo and told my wife she will be receiving her PR Card by mail in about two weeks at the address on the COPR paper. Then the officer said Welcome to Canada!

PS. The officer did not ask us for any of the B4 or B4A forms and didn’t ask how much funds that we are bring in to Canada.

I hope this information will help any forum members that will be landing in the near future.

Good Luck & Best Wishes to All the Members, hope you all will get your PPR very soon!!

Cheers,

My ecas changed to in process on the 13th dec. Interview with approval was on the 2nd Dec. Better update the spreadsheet. What does 'in process' mean? See below from another thread.

Re: Has any1 received rejection after 'In Process' status on Ecas

Thanks JES_ON. actually the general trend i see on trackitt and other forums is that when the applicant gets In Process i.e. ,we started processing your application, they generally get approved. The apps that are rejected dont usually get updated on E-CAS to that. Just my observation which may very well be wrong, but thanks for sharing your ideas guys... just trying to understand CIC a bit better lol

be positive. when you see trouble to log in ecas mean something change or updating on ecas and it is normal. in my situation when i had an update on ecas always change effect early sunday morning between 12:30 to 1:30 and always 3 days later date . so it might be a positive sign. I think your husband ppr on the way and remedical.
my friend who had interview last feb file goes in process exactly after 10 days of the day of interview. finish process took 4 months.

and my friend's sister husband who had interview dec nothing change still application received.

For you it is a good sign they are finalize your husband file just wait for ppr in hand. could take another 5-10 days and do not worry until then.
