SIN not issued

Hello, everyone.

My wife is the primary applicant and I'm a dependent.
We both landed in Toronto yesterday. Today we went to service Canada and applied for SIN.
My wife received her SIN but I'm didn't get my SIN.
Officer in the Service Canada said that there is some issue when she is trying to get SIN for me. But, she doesn't know whats the reason for this issue. She gave me a form and told me to fill that. Then she said my SIN will be mailed in 4-6 weeks.

What do you suggest me to do?

I'm worried about this. Dis this ever happen to any one?

Hi! I am having the same problem and i did the application twice in person 13 October 2020 and 29 October 2020. I am now still waiting. Any solution or someone know the cause for this issue?

This happens sometime when your information is not properly entered in the system at the time of landing. In past some people went back to the port of entry to get it fixed and in some cases they waited for the Service Canada to figure out the issue and fix it.
