depends if u have enough space in ur baggage after ur necessary stuff, it is good to take pressure cooker , idali maker, one plate , one bowel just the things one person would need......because when u get ur rental apartment and share with someone u should have ur personal utensils just so u dont have to go shopping the very first time....even some people carry small qty of rice sugar etc so u save on groceries for first month......this is just my thought .....I personally going to take a diner set (since I am going with wife) couple of pans, flat bottom kadhai a small vessel for tea etc....there is a post on this forum with a list of stuff recommended to carry.
