That means you have application number and UCI now for your spouse , right ? I believe the biometrics letter has that.

Hi Everyone, I received the biometric request letter yesterday at 8:20 p.m. in Toronto and got an email request for the IMM5532 form to sign and resubmit. I had a signed name (typed name after converting to PDF) on IMM5532. Did anyone have this issue?

How did you sign the document?

Today, Toronto time: 8:34am I have also received a letter saying

This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on
behalf of (name) and family (if applicable).

We are pleased to inform that you have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor.

Reminder – Your undertaking is an unconditional promise of support
The undertaking you signed is an unconditional promise to financially support and provide basic
requirements for your sponsored relative(s). This undertaking is not broken by such changes as the
granting of Canadian citizenship, divorce, separation, relationship breakdown, moving to another
province, or a change in your financial situation. Your obligations as a sponsor begin as soon as your
sponsored relative and, if applicable, their accompanying family members become permanent residents
of Canada. This undertaking cannot be cancelled once permanent resident visas are issued to them.

The Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) will be forwarded to the visa office in
London for further processing.

Is this SA approval?

We typed our full names on IMM5532 as written on passport. There are 2 signatures for each person (sponsor & PA).

I have typed the name too (same as passport). There were four signatures in total: two for sponsors and two for applicants.

No issues for me. We received AOR without any comments about any forms or documents we submitted.

Sometimes IRCC is finicky about signatures. You can print and sign and then scan the form (can be done with a cellphone). Or you can use e-signature from Adobe, or any other program you may have. Just make sure it matches your signature in your IDs.

Mine did not get returned, but give me 30 days to submit IMM5532.

Like I said, it is entirely up to you. As long as you can create an e-signature that is not just typing your name on the form.
I would hand sign it though to not have any issues.
