Is it true that Winnipeg field office is processing slower than others?
They are pretty slow
my friend who applied last week of May received FP and test invite last week. If I calculate taking his example, I will get the same request in March probably ( which is like 8 months after you applied , avg processing time )

Edit - I see that you applied on paper, 75% chance you might even get Test invite before me.

Guys I also got fingerprint request today, and got test request a week ago.

Any suggestions to practice test simulations since there're lots of sites out there. Also any suggestions on places to get finger prints taken in Calgary.
What is your test window? Was application Online?

That's just too slow...
I saw the spreadsheet and noticed IRCC field offices in big cities (Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, etc) tend to be faster... People applied from these cities usually have their cases approved within 8-9 months after receiving AOR.

yup , as they have more agents to process the loads, plus another thing I read somewhere was that online apps are being delayed since ircc agent can't do WFH because of confidential data being accessed over internet

Yes, I raised a webform requesting for an update a month ago.
What could be the reasons for the urgent processing?
Is sending the child for higher education abroad a valid reason request urgent processing?

No, I guess. Urgent processing is where you don't have another country's passport (not expired, but a refugee) and need to go outside Canada because of some urgency or that you have a job offer in Canada or some other country for which Canadian citizenship is Mandatory.

Feb 4 to 25 is my window online app. Already cleared the test yesterday.
Great! I just did mine. 20/20
TBH it was not very straight forward, I was surprised. Had couple of questions twisted. One need to ready the Discover Canada really well.
