What this means is that your local VO is requesting additional information from you, and is asking you to wait for the letter they had sent over to you that probably listed the additional information that they requested, in order to further assessing your application.

Obviously, it is not the information that you already submitted. They are asking additional information.
I think it is time to communicate with your representative now to ask about what kind of additional information they are asking.

hey guys.. no update since my VO transfer on 6th november at MISS.... background changed to process ( not sure when as i havent checked in 4 weeks).. also my partner and I got engaged over the xmas holidays... would i have to notify CIC??

First... Congratulations!

No you don't have to tell CIC. Only need to inform them if you actually marry.
