Yes my sponsor got SA via email..
I checked MyCIC and the eligibility section says review in progress now..
Yes iv been able to access ECAS and Mycic since AoR1.. but my sponsor has not had ECAS access even now.. thinking to call CIC :/

Why do people have Ottawa listed in the spreadsheet if they are outland applications? There is no guarantee your application will be sent there instead of your outland office.

in our case, i was able to link our app yesterday and just today we got AOR. i guess AOR soon for u.
but i noticed our application number start with Fxxxx , any idea guys ?

Application numbers that start with "XF#########" are temporary numbers. When the file goes "In Process" on the sponsor's side, the file number is changed to "F#########".

All US citizen and US PR ("green card") applications for Outland Family Class PR are processed at Ottawa VO. Ottawa VO also handles some overflow from overseas VO's, primarily if the principal applicant is already in Canada with valid status (visitor, work, or study).

Presently, it's taking anywhere from 3-4 weeks to reach AOR1.

Probably late October?

My app was received Sept 19, and I'm not able to pull anything up on the CIC website yet - tried checking application status with payment receipt number and trying to link accounts.
Does this make sense?
Just away on vacation for a bit and paranoid that something will not begin processing if anything gets sent back.

So Relieved to say we got the AOR1 email this morning!! Was starting to think they were sending it back because I forgot to write Sponsorship:spouse on the envelop. Im also wondering what alooise already asked, now that we got the AOR, does that mean it wont be returned? TIA

Some people are able to link before AOR. We submitted our application on August 16th and were just able to finally link our application last night after several failed attempts and we haven't received AOR yet.
