Guys, Please help.
The last communication I had with CIC was to send the Schedule A and new PCC in May. No emails after that.
Last week I moved to Helsinki (Finland) for next 6 months from India. Should I send the email to CIC asking to update the address and Embassy location?
I am sure some of us must have faced similar situation. Please advise what should I do.

I would. Otherwise, you will have to travel back, wait for the stamping to complete and then return. I am guessing you are there for work so it will help overall.

I decided to book an appointment with local CIC office. It didn't take that long and I didn't have to travel all the way to the US border. Got my documents and a new SIN on the spot. Took less than 30 minutes overall.

Congratulations for your PR, Wanted to know how much in advance you booked the appointment at Etobicoke CIC office ?

Also, any other tips/noteworthy things if you can suggest to have things planned properly.

I called CIC call centre on June 2nd to initiate the booking process. I received the appointment email from CIC Etobicoke on June 9th for a June 17th appointment. Just take your passport, previous work permit, COPR and printout of CIC Etobicoke's appointment email with you. And your SIN card too, they will give you a new SIN number right there.

Does anyone know what is the next step after all required steps are passed? My criminality and security, medical and eligibility are all passed, however, I don't know why CIC does not send me PPR? :'( :'(

Hi All,

I am still waiting For PPR.
I am moving to a new apartment this month end.

is it a good idea to update the address now as it takes some time to get updated, so that i don't have any issues if i get PPR in 1st week of July.

where should i updated the address. Is it in
1. ECAS or
2. report changes in your address via the web form: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx.

or is anything fine?

Just received my GCMS notes
1. Eligibility, Criminality and Medical set to Passed
2. Security is blank
3. Application Due Date is 2016/07/06

does anyone know what due date would mean? and why is security blank?

I had my notes sometime back with application due date, cic agent told me that it's the date your file will be picked/looked at for further actions.

Got my note on Monday, same situation as yours, except due date has passed, mine is Jun 9, 2016. Today got decision made without any letter or email , freaking out now, are they going to reject my application??
