September 2013 Citizenship Application

Hi Guys, just wanted your advice. I applied in September 2013. They started processing my application November 21st, 2013. I received my AOR in Jan. However, since then my status online has remained at In Process? Should I be worried? anything that i can do...

There is quite a few applicants including myself having the same situation.
I applied in Sept. 2013, in process in Nov 2013, and still in process. When I call some agents say my file is in local office, some say it is not - which is quite frustrating as it looks like in some cases agents do not understand how to read the information on their own system.

does anyone recommending submitting an ATIP to see why its being held up?

would appreciate help in how exactly i should submit the ATIP!

great thanks. was looking at the online application..it says we may add up to 5 additional documents in the application? any idea what documents we need to submit online? A consent letter, etc?

There has been steady progress in this forum congrats on those with test & oath dates for those like myself who had fingerprint rqsts or just waiting we jusy have to be patient
Although my citizen is still "in procesd" @ mississauga office my PR renewal says "complete" it expires end of May which was really fast process (over one month) will call CIC Monday if in mail or need to pick up.
I hope now this will trigger off my test date as I presumei cant attend test/oath with an expired card??

There is no progress on our case yet .
Did finger prints on 18th march . No change in status yet. Called CIC and agent said the file is in local office( Mississuaga)
Any updates from anyone, particularly , those who had to go through fingerprints process?

no news to my end!
I believe CIC has slowed down the process again ( I think they just sped it up when they were bringing the new bill to the parliament couple months ago )

Rcvd PRC in post already surprised to get it so fast was a non-urgent application 8)
