It seems Canadapost loves to mess up parcels. Few months back, I bought a stuff. It was shipped to me with tracking number, it never arrived. After lots of calls and opening up tickets with Canadapost, it was never found! The seller returned my money, which was good of him, and said he is going to contact Canadapost personally. When I checked the seller's address, I was amazed to find that he lives only 45 minutes away from me, i did not pay attention to his address before.

That means Canadapost could not safely transmit a package 45 mins apart! Anyways that is just one horror story.

Not to be disheartened!

Ahhh great! lol.
That's why I told them that it is my passport and I need it. They wouldn't even let me pick it up myself.
Oh well..Hopefully by tomorrow? or wishful thinking...
They better not lose it or somebody gonna get a hurt real bad...

Got RCMP Request Remainder mail

Today I received final remainder mail for RCMP certificate but my certificate was sent way back in February and was also acknowledged by the CPC-Ottawa about the receipt of the same .Now I am not sure what to do?

Have you sent the original document or a scanned version by email?? If you've sent the original documents of your RCMP
clearance based on fingerprints, then I would suggest emailing CPC-O as soon as possible and tell them exactly when you've
sent the document and maybe attach the email in which they've acknowledged the receipt of the document.

clearance based on fingerprints, then I would suggest emailing CPC-O as soon as possible and tell them exactly when you've

I had requested the RCMP department the send the original certificate directly to the CPC-Ottawa as I ws not in Canada at that point of time . I got acknowledgement from RCMP about sending the certificate and from CPC-O on receiving.Sent an email to CPC-O to reassure me on the receipt of the certificate.

Will wait for the reply for couple of days . If I don't hear any response in a week do you recommend me to go through the RCMP drill again ?

I have a question on landing, one of my dependants is in BC till the end of July, can I land before my dependant then she lands after I do. It doesnt make sense paying hundreds of dollars for a flight so that she can land with me, she is 18 years old. Please advise if anyone has info on landing separately .

My Friend did the landing with his daughter and his wife and son came almost a month later so to me, it's not an issue at all.
