There's a mass walkout today in Ottawa by PAFSO so there's probably no work being done today.

What about those who are not members of PAFSO? Are they still working as normal?
i heard they worked until late evening in ottawa. Not sure if its true..

Got My ECAS Updated two days after i received the Passport Request

It says
We received your application for permanent residence on September 27, 2012.

We started processing your application on September 16, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision

I dont know why they say we started processing the Application on September 16 2013... I got my medical and RPRF request before that. :|

Hey vbdevgan, Congrats!..... Why are you bothered about when and what status they update on your ECAS till the time you are on right track and you are almost done?
I will be more than happy if I get everything done while the ECAS still states "Application received".

So just follow the last steps and look fwd. to landing!

All, have updated the below link for Sep-2012. Pls review and update incase some details are missing

Also, I have added 2 columns:
1) "No. of PCCs submitted"
2) "No. of Countries Visited (other than PCC submitted countries)"

Pls update your details for the above 2 columns. I have updated mine.

I know there are various factors involved in processing times but since we are waiting, we can atleast try to judge some trends towards 'Criminality' (i.e. the number of countries visited Vs the time taken etc).....

This is pretty usual braveman, ecas status is changed to decision made just before an applicant received PPR or soon after he receives PPR. You dont need to be worried..

I am still waiting for my passport, no update since then. Our consultant did not day anything he just said wait for 3 weeks. We are all good buddy! start to celebrate now

I just got a request to pay RPRF and to fill the bio data form . It means my eligibility is clear ? I got married last week too . I was preparing the form for my spouse . I am little confused here should i pay the fee for both or not?

Is it possible to do medical before too?

Hello September buddies...

I had sent my passport to CIC for the PR visa and copr. Just saw that my Canadapost tracker got activated today after 19 days. So hopefully tomorrow i will have my passport back and then heading to Fort Erie.

Really grateful to everyone here. Though most of the ones who helped me are perhaps not even looking at this post now. But specially JES_ON and other senior members, thank you for being here and thank you for helping us out when we were in dire need of help.

Please keep this place a source of help. Sometimes we may not agree or completely disagree with someone's view. Just correct the info of that person and pls dont make an issue out of it. Just let it go. People will realize and value you. You may even some great buddies here. I definitely found many.
