I received an email asking me to send my passport to New York VFS on April 8.
I sent the passport to VFS on April 9; FedEx confirmed receipt on April 10.
Silence for more than a month. I finally couldnt wait and called VFS. After several days of trials, I finally was able to connect to someone on the phone. They told me the check was not approved and I had to resend (they didnt send me any email / text / or any form of communication).
On May 12th, I resent the check.
Check was delivered on May 13th.
I called VFS again on 17th. VFS said my passport was mailed to consulate on the 17th.
Now it has been more than two weeks since May 17th, but no updates. Anybody had the same issue?
