My wife is a principal candidate. While applying for immigration we showed funds in her bank accounts. Since we applied in 2014, we changed banks especially in last two years, we are now parking our savings in bank account under my title/name. We are soft landing now in July 2019 and have few queries:
1. Is it fine if we show funds under my title considering I am not principal candidate and funds were not under my name in bank account when we applied in 2014? If yes, I understand that I can show my bank statement of last six months but I intend to take demand draft in US Dollar (equivalent of Canadian Dollar minimum threshold) under my name. Please advise if I can do this in terms of title of demand draft and currency denomination.
2. I enquired with all major banks in my resident country that i would require demand draft which they are reluctant to release. In case if I dont get it within week, what other secure options i will have.
