Sending PR Card from Canada to Germany

Hi,

I wanted to check if anyone has successfully post their PR card from Canada to Germany using DHL Courier.

I will ask my friend to put the PR card in RFID blocker card and send it to me in Germany via DHL courier.

If anyone has any experience then please let me know

I have not, but I'm sure others have.

Keep in mind that since the PR Card contains a RFID `chip' it could still be detected by Customs when entering Germany (if not before en route), even if packaged with a blocker of some sort...perhaps even during a random inspection of that piece of mail. Why do you feel the need to disguise what is being sent?

Since the shipper (your friend) has to declare what's being sent, couldn't this be a problem right out of the gate?
Check with DHL regarding items (like this) and what Germany's policy is for importing such an item.
