Completing 2 months since test soon. Let's see what happens as they said 2-4 months! I know that a lot of us are waiting since test from early March but should start receiving the oath dates soon!

Wondering what's the hold-up at Scarborough office is for!!....from 2 weeks(test to oath) they have gone to more than 2 months now.

I thought this might help some of us in the waiting lines. I went through all of the posts in this Scarborough forum and calculated the following table in Excel. Time Frame used here is for all the applications sent since August First, 2014. By "Step" I meant the length of time required from one step to the next. # Samples means the number of dates mentioned in the posts.

I canceled an overseas trip of mine in May because the table average indicated a test date is coming up during the trip (and it did). I hope this gives a better idea of waiting periods for the anxious ones among us.

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 26, 2014.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 9, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on February 27, 2015.

Your file was transferred to the Scarborough Citizenship Operations office on March 12, 2015. The Scarborough Citizenship Operations office will contact you.

We sent you a notice on April 17, 2015 to appear and write the citizenship test on May 4, 2015 at 8:15 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. I passed the test, and the interview literally took 5 minutes. The interviewer asked some basic questions and told me that I'll receive the oath ceremony letter in 2-4 months.

I would say for Scarborough on an average the timeline is roughly 11 to 12 weeks after the test date.

ECAS is updated as well. Oath time showed up.

Did my test April 9 and was informed of a 2-4 month waiting window.

Hopefully it isn't more than a few weeks away.
